My name is Matt Swift, and I've been a commercial photographer for over twenty-five years and still, after all this time, photography remains my life. But, even before my career as a photographer began, my passion for the landscape, to be more precise, the wild and rugged mountains of Scotland and the far north was there. Gone to a Wild Place, is about combining these two passions with a hint of adventure, stories, workshops and maybe some other interesting projects along the way. I suppose it's the ongoing story of a photographer endeavouring to become, well, more windswept and interesting. Obviously, I'll let you be the judge of that!
